Does Verizon have an Internet/Broadband Phone?

Does Verizon have an Internet/Broadband Phone?

Short answer Yes! They used to. It was called Voicewing, Verizon VoiceWing . Just like Vonage, you could use this service with any Broadband Connection. It could be used on Cable, DSL Fios etc.

The service has since been discontinued. There was a biig fight between Vonage and Verizon over rights. At one time a judge Barred Vonage from  accepting new customers (See zxnet.net for the juice..) but then The case somehow just went away. Voicewing went away around the same time. I smell a Rat here. Fat RAT! Would not suprise me if Verizon and Voicewing made a deal.

How Do I get the Bundle Package?
Start Here. Note: Verizon offers DSL in some areas where Fios in not available yet. Bundle your local with your long distance service and save with Verizon Freedom
