Actiontec MI424WR Wireless Broadband Router is Fios's weapon of choice. No, this is not your ordinary router. Looks simple on the outside but the guts perform the magic.

Actiontec MI424WR is the world's first broadband gateway that supports multiple WAN, LAN and VoIP interfaces. This is crucial since it provides Fios with a platform to launch Triple play.

Check the attachment section below for the Actiontec MI424WR Manual. It has full router specs and config information. Note: Be Patient with this one. It is the Biggest manual we have. Just over 7MB but if you have Fios it is a breeze!

The Router menu info says Supports B and G. BUT, Actiontec Company claims speeds of up to 100 Megabits per sec.Where is the software upgrade to support N?In order to support speeds of 100 this router would need to support N.I went to their site NO UPGRADES.N runs at up to 150 MegaBits per sec.The router only runs at 54 Megabits per sec.ROUTER SLOWS ME DOWN

This puppy’s been superceded by the Gen 2; overall rounded / oval shape and supports (if the firmware allows) USB devices (storage / cameras, etc) and one-touch configuration for wireless.

If you have FIOS, it doesn't take long to download the manual - about 15 sec for me.
