view Network Camera over Internet: MI 424WR & Level1 Camera |
Hello All,
I'm trying to setup a network camera to veiw my home over the Internet when I'm out of town. Everything works fine locally and when I use the public IP address from my local PC. When I try to view the camera from outside nothing comes up. I set the camera IP address to be the DMZ. I've also tried port forwarding ports 80, 554, 5556 & 5558 to the camera's IP address and nothing works. On the off chance there might be something else stopping the inquiries I've set up all the input rules to accept packets to the camera's IP address.
I've done this successfully before with out routers, but something is not letting me do this on the MI424WR router.
Any help, suggesstions are greatly apprieciated.
Thanks,
Damian
