Verizon Fios uses the Scientific-Atlanta AT8550 AllTouch Remote Control for their basic Fios STB. The Motorola QIP2500 SD Box. Remember this is not the only Box where the Scientific-Atlanta AT8550 is utilized. elow you will find the Users Guide for this Universal Remote Control.� The guide contains all the codes you need to programe your Devices.
 
How Does the Universal Remote Control Work?
You tell the remote which type of device you want to operate using the five keys arched across the top of the remote. These keys, known as Mode Keys, are labled CBL, TV, VCR, DVD and AUX. Each mode key is associated with a specific device. As an example, if you want the remote to operate your TV, you simply press the TV key. Other keys you presson the remote thereafter should operate your TV. Want to switch the remote to operate a different device?
 
NOTE: Some remote keys may not operate in all modes. You can even program your remote to assign specific functions, such as channel control, operate one device only. You can learn more about these advanced functions in the user guide below.
